Deaf Ear
« on: March 24, 2011, 08:16:40 AM »
I have long suffered from Tinnitus, which come and goes. After a prolonged bout I got myself referred to consultant and they did all sorts of tests and said my hearing was very good and the ringing in the ears was nothing to worry about. Since then I have not suffered from it at all (or maybe, having been reassured, I just stopped noticing it).
This morning I have woken with one ear completely deaf.

Very disconcerting!
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

 ;D

I had a problem with a strange sound or 'distortion' in one ear for years... went to specialists and everything but it eventually went away without ever discovering what it was....

Perhaps I imagined that...  rubschin:

Went back to bed for a "nap" in the hope that since this arrived whilst I slept it might go if I slept.........

It's either getting better or I'm getting used to it .... Hard to tell.

My Dad had a moth go in his ear and said it sounded like a motorbike going round and round.
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.
