Dear Editor If you are ever travelling by train from Beeston station and if you arrive early and if you decide you just have time to pop to the loo on the station and you see a door marked ‘Toilet’ and go inside that door, DO SO AT YOUR PERIL! You will find a burly and rather uncouth rail worker will force open the toilet door before you have had time to lock it and shout ‘you can’t use this’. If you protest that it says ‘toilet’ on the door and you need to use it, he will say ‘you can’t use this – its for staff only’ and forcibly eject you (even if you are a little old lady)! I know this, dear reader, because it happened to me today! And the jobsworth award of the week goes to ……………..
