Berek. Just for the record (before some eastern european wanksplat deletes it) do you beleive the McCanns killed their daughter or not?

Forget leaving them unattended, did they KILL her?

I'll answer. I don't know. I'm leaning towards yes they did though. Not on purpose but as a horrible accident.

No disrespect but that is no answer. A horrible accident could include running under a bus. Let's open it it up and make it clear.

Leaving aside the obvious fact of leaving her unattended who beleives they killed their daughter and are covering it up?

I think my cat wants to kill me...

I am not persuaded that there is anything like enough evidence to draw any honest conclusion that could implicate the parents.

Trouble is, the same lack of evidence does not exonerate them either.

My personal feelings lie against accusation of the McCanns - at least for now, it's unsustainable.

Tail, i think it's indisputable that their lack of care caused her death.

I don't think suggesting it is an accident is no answer.

It could have been sleeping pills, a trip, whatever.  The parents didn't admit the 'accident' straight away as they feared the other kids would be taken away.

Spell check, wtf mi spuling is grate!

I was 'leaving aside the obvious lack of care'.  Anyway, I accept that the lack of care caused the INCIDENT but not her death.  That is still an open question.

Exactly!

I believe there was an accidental over dose of sleeping pills. Or they "sedated" her and she tripped and fell. She died and they have covered it up.

I don't believe that they set out to kill her.

At the very least I think they should be charged with aiding and abeting or as an accessory. If they hadn't left them it wouldn't have happened. I simply can't get past that.

There is clearly no evidence that they were involved in her disappearance apart from the obvious neglect.

However, I think what made most of us suspicious was their attitude when initially interviewed – they weren’t quite ‘right’ for some reason – many, many people said it.
