Detectives suggested to Kate McCann in questioning on Thursday that traces of her daughter's blood had been found in a Renault Scenic the family hired 25 days after Madeleine disappeared. Mrs McCann told the officers there was "no way" this could be the case, the friend said.

Where in the car would be helpful to know. rubschin:
The boot?

Mrs McCann told the officers there was "no way" this could be the case,

Sounds a bit desperate to me, but their again, I'm just an untrusting cynical old bastard ....apparently. eeek:

It's all coming unravelled. Wonder what the Pope has to say on the matter?

25 days AFTER her disappearance?

Not wishing to piss on the plods chips here, but wouldn't a corpse have 'drip dried' by then, IF they were transporting her body for disposal?

I'm no expert in these matters, but the whole thing appears to be a total shambles imo.

Not if she was alive when they put her in the boot!

So where TF did they hide her (alive) for 25 days then, and more to the point, WHY?
Why would they report her missing if they knew she wasn't?

Something not adding up here. confused:

I don't like talking morbid dead body stuff type things, but as i said/asked before, would a corpse of 25 days deceased still bleed and / or leave traces in the car, and why, if she was still alive then, did they not keep schtum until she'd been.................... rubschin: 'got rid of in whatever manner that may have been?

Ahem,

As I mentioned some time ago, why did they need to hire a car anyway?

At the time IIRC they had chauffer driven limos, private jets and the popemobile at their disposal.  whistle:

Never said that. I'm just keepin' an open cynical mind, and gathering the facts just like Columbo like.
Just need a rancid dirty beige coat, glass eye, dodgy incomprehensible accent, and the image will be complete. eeek:

Why don't the Portugese police employ the services of one of those "wonderful" New Zealand psychics that seem to occupy one particular UK Channel's night time schedule. I bet, if asked, they could probably find Shergar too!
