'Combatant'  rubschin:

A mad relic from the "other side". Named after a proprietary brand of tobacco. I don't think he likes me too much as he went to Wallington Boys, whereas I went to the better school two miles away. He has also been known to drive a Skoda.

P.S. I believe that Kate will also be charged with the murder of Steve Fossett.

Is right. We are simply gathering the evidence...well trying to amongst all this random shite that some ar intent on discussing....before we come to a firm decision as to who did what and when.

Thickening indeed. Accorrding to Sky Mrs McCann was offered a deal of 2 years in chokey if she confessed.  noooo:

On a different note, I'm typing this with Sky news on in the next room. The presenters all sound so full of breathless drama as they report the latest non-developments. Also, Sky news website has a permanant 'Madeline' link on their front page. Anyone would think they werer making money out of this. Anyone know how much it costs for a click through ad on the 'Madeline' page?

They are now quoting family statements about planted evidence and things being 'untoward' about the investigation.

I have no idea what the fuck is going on over there but I have no doubt that even though we slag our police off, if this had happened over here there would have been arrests by now.

If this pans out and McCann's were involved a LOT of people are going to look extremely stupid.

No matter how many people you ask, you will find no one who made a donation to the fund, wore a yellow ribbon etc.

I for one will write a harsh Letter to the Leicester Mercury (my local rag) asking them who paid for the thousands of wristbands they gave away.

Oi, if you don't mind i win the most cynical bastard prize - i said it was her before she did it!

As for the blood in the car, if she'd blead profusely it would have been all over the clothes and/or whatever she was placed in.

I didn't say it was murder, i'm still of the belief that they'd left her unsupervised at some point, she drank bleach / took mothers hrt tablets / took fathers smack / fell off bed etc.  On their return parents saw that they were likely to lose their other kids thus embarked on an ill advised lie fest.

And you Berek should be ashamed, for a refund visit:

All this speculation is all very well but the obvious problem is that if the parent(s) are to blame where's the body? I just cannot see where they could have hidden Maddy's body in the short time they had. It would have been found.
