Having had dealings with Social Services they will do one of two things:

1. Get very busy with files and notes cos they know the media are interested and make life hell
2. Go all fluffy, mumsy and intrusive and make life hell

The father of missing Madeleine McCann has said he is "100% confident" his wife had nothing to do with his daughter's disappearance.

Is it just me, or is that a very strange thing to say. Why not just say "she didn't do it"?  rubschin:
