Second tourist 'saw Maddy in Morocco'

Sunday, September 23, 2007
A second sighting in Morocco of a girl who looked like Madeleine McCann has been revealed.
A tourist from Yorkshire contacted police to notify them of seeing someone who looked similar to Madeleine outside the Ibis Hotel in Marrakech on May 9, it emerged yesterday.
A Norwegian tourist had already claimed to have seen a child like four-year-old Madeleine at a petrol station in the city on that day.
The Briton was unaware of this first sighting, meaning police now have two independent reports from the same place.
Details of the second sighting were passed on to the Portuguese and Moroccan authorities, and parents Kate and Gerry McCann, but not disclosed to the media until now.
Yesterday, the McCanns' spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: 'It was made known to us when it happened.
'All I can say is that any possible sightings, if credible, we hope would be examined thoroughly, whether it's in Portugal, Spain or anywhere else.'
Madeleine disappeared from the Praia da Luz resort in the Algarve on May 3.
Yesterday, the McCanns, both 39, left their home in Rothley, Leicestershire, with twins Sean and Amelie to go to church, where prayers are said daily for their daughter. Mr Mitchell said: 'They are feeling positive.'

But they went public too soon. It's on the front page of every newspaper in Europe. And prolly Morocco too. Find the lady with the sling? Nah, she will be hiding now.

I dont think the kid in the picture is her, firstly she/he/it is no fairer skinned than the woman in black to her right. Since Maddie went missing iv'e seen her everywhere, take a group of 4 year old girls and you are sure to find one that bears a resemblance.

we all know she was eaten by the one eyed monster

what annoys me about these so called sightings is why don't these people confront ? why not stop the car and walk up to them and look at her ?

I reckon we'll have loads of these photos cropping up, just like the big cats and the loch ness monster

They also didn't realise it until the pictures were developed.
