Seriously though ...I always look for another Magpie when I see just one
. I don't salute , or say good morning or spit or anything though
On the whole I am not superstitious though .
My mum was a bloody nutter about such things. Times when I was a kid and I came home, bought a new pair of shoes and put them on the kitchen table to show her. She would swoop in there and swipe the things off the table onto the floor saying that new shoes were never to be put on a table.
We were also never allowed to cross on the stairs
Blue and green were never to be seen
The list was endless
