A week just flies by Uncle ..... wish I'd gone for a fortnight now.
A glorious week of sunshine and temps up to 27 degs, eating outdoors at 9 in the evening, kids spending hours in the pool and I come back, get up this morning and it's pizeing and bloody cold.  evil:
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

First thing Minor said as I drove off the ferry and up the hill past Dover Castle was "Bloody hell ..... England is filthy!"

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

As it's Sunday afternoon surely we should be sampling his "cake"

When I went to a friends funeral last year the vicar was relating stories of Lorna's life. She said that "Lorna was well known for her cakes". And as she looked at those attending, some of whom were obviously children of the sixties, it dawned on her what sort of cakes they were that Lorna use to bake. Her face was a picture  ;D
