Just being a nosey bugger like... where'd you go, was it good, would you go again? I often go over part of the Peak district to visit daughters 1 and 3 and far sooner go in a watering hole on recommendation rather than chance me arm

The Roebuck at Mobberley

www.theroebuck.com

Good menu (see menu on website) ~ Good daily specials ~ not expensive and several good beers on tap. Wine list looked OK too.
Table service for diners.... not queuing to order at the bar.
Waitresses efficient, food hot, well cooked and nicely presented if a bit "cheffy"

Small world Snoopy. I lived in Wilmslow 1979 - 84 and use to have the odd pint in the Roebuck and the Bulls Head just across the way from there. If daughter No. 1 is the last port of call on family visits I still go past there

Another one close by was the strangely named "Frozen Mop", they use to do good food too

TBH I picked the Roebuck by its menu and website. Mobberley was as close to being an equal distance for both parties to travel as I could find on the map. Certainly I'll go back.

Well I am home after a very enjoyable lunch.  I behaved impeccably as did Snoops, he sat very quietly under the table the whole time, murmuring occasionally. I just had a beautific smile on my face. eyes:  A repeat visit may have to be made.

Did you stroke him...under the table... angel1
