Been down the garden to feed the chickens, was just washing my hands and getting ready to open the wine when there was a knock at the front door. On answering it much to my surprise standing there and asking to use the bathroom was Nick. One glass of wine, a wee, several stories, a large dose of laughing he has just left us, clutching a package containing a wabbit pie dish and a CD that has been sitting on my bookcase since he visited us for a weekend. Things that brighten the day....

Look lovely JOM we will be heading that way in a few weeks to pick up my Mum she is coming here for a week or so. I am looking forward to a walk in the forest and a long trip to Lymington, coffee on the quay is on the cards.
First trip down the New Forest this year. No foals around but a nice bit of fresh air and a drink cleared a few of those winter blues away
