Usually when you look a the news its full of doom and gloom such as ISIS, the economy, the election, crime etc but every once in a while comes a story that shows there are still decent people out there.

Alan Barnes was beaten up outside his home by an unknown attacker, breaking his collar bone. When the news was reported Katie Cutler, a local beautician decided set up an appeal with the aim of raising a couple of hundred pounds to help comfort him, currently the total raised is over a quarter of a million pounds.  :thumbsup:

Eldest daughter......straight A's all across her subjects.

Top of the year as a student (including Greek  eeek:) out of over 100 kids...and she is one year younger than the rest (she got put up a year).

Not bad for an English kid in a 'Bubble' school.  cloud9:
