How does that work

This morning I was having a clear-out along the side and the back of the shed so that I could re-paint it. I was working with little room for manouvre, lifting heavy objects, some of which had virginia creeper through them which didn't exactly help, and carrying them out of the way. No problems whatsoever

When I went to the shop, I changed into another shirt and when putting it on, I seemed to have pulled/torn a muscle in my lower back as I was putting it on. It was only a shirt ffs  cussing:

Ow, me back. Ibuprofen do not appear to be assisting (I didn't cry though)

I can hardly walk. Ow, ouch, oooh. I reckon these aren't Ibuprofens, they've been swapped for placebo pills  surrender:

Despite the Ibuprofen, the pain wasn't going away.  cry:   Two and a half hours in A & E, ...
they gave me a diagnosis of torn muscles, 30 cocodamol for the next ten days and to keep up with the Ibuprofen and paracetamol. Oh, and loads of exercises for the next five weeks to assist recovery and build it up again

I gave them £7.40 for the tablets, and three bloody quid for the privilege of parking  cussing:

BTW, last time I had Cocodamol I had a bad reaction to it. Sweats and hallucinations.

When I was in a French Hospital (following a cardiac arrest in a Paris street) they asked if I had much pain ~ I said yes mainly from the ribs that had been broken by paramedics giving me cardiac massage prior to defibrillation, and I expected the usual morphine shot in the arm. They rolled me onto my side and whacked a suppository in.  eeek:
Pain gone within five minutes.
I later discovered that the French medics are great believers in suppositories. <<<< End of serious
