Yeah well  ::) ..... WE all know the folly of  trying to replace burning fossil fuels with wind and solar power but the politicians don't or won't recognise it ~ I can only assume that they have invested so much, financially and reputationally, in the whole nonsense that they cannot now pull back on it. Frankly it would do them more good politically if they admitted their error, said they had been misled and moved on to something sensible that we could all buy into. Nuclear is the only way forward available (until Captain Kirk returns with the dilithium crystals). The sooner world "leaders" accept that the better.
