Top buttons

Is this becoming more frequent or more fashionable ? .....but lots of blokes seem to be wearing their shirts with the top button done up         ( when they are not wearing a tie )....even if it is a casual shirt etc.

Personally I don't understand it ....why would you want to do all the buttons on your shirt up when you don't have to ???

To me, having the top button done up looks nerdy and uptight, even, dare I say it, anally retentive.

Be interesting to see if it becomes "cool". Fashion is a very strange thing.
