Out of my depth?

I'm possibly going to Nut'eds of Nottingham again the weekend after next, meaning a week this coming Saturday.
He's 'avin a bonfire on his patio and burning some burgers or summat apparently.

The guest list consists of a retired college principle, a retired History lecturer and possibly someone called Brian who may be slightly disabled with a dry sense of humour  cloud9: from the DWP or summat. confused:

Me, being a 'country' boy with a degree only in dopiness is therefore a tad worried that I'm going to be a bit out of me depth in the conversations dept. sad32:

Advice, apart from DON'T go? Shrugs:
