Explode:Well thank you chaps and chapesses.

Mr C arrived home safe and sound with a nitro Spray.

The lounge looks like we have been burgled only they (the burgers) have bought their own crap to scatter about. The lad was getting stressed about putting his crap in the loft and visiting all the rellies. He is 25 but quite young and naive in many ways.  We have just told him that he does not have to get the excess 'stuff' into the loft we will hire a ban to do it.  The shed boxes will go up there at the same time.

I thought that my family were dysfunctional.  This family are just dreadful to each other. Mental torture seems the order of the day and I find it disgusting.

Luckily he and I get on and he does talk to me he is rather a special young man. He seems to listen to me and he has seen my kids all of whom are about the same age he has joined them on jaunts round Meadow hall, a more local shopping place worked things out for them and given the girls piggy backs shown them how to do side kicks laughed when they fell over.  Snuggled up my grand kids I hope you get the picture. Pretty dam, normal stuff IMHO

He has had no help in this venture from  any of his family (apart from us)  and that upsets him, understandable In fact sisters reaction was 'well don't forget the £27.00 you owe me I will need that before you go' IMO.  This lad is the only grandchild of the harridan and her husband they burble on about how important family are but it seems to be in the past and the future seems not to matter

I am sorry I can rant no more the drugs are kicking in I need to rest.  I feel for these two men who are being treated appallingly by their families IMHO. Explode:

My tame Latin expert says you were right first time.

As indeed is confirmed by a number of on-line dictionaries.

Whichever ~ I knew what you meant ... which is the important thing.

Miss C, I find it best to take comfort that one has not done such a bad job after all, when confronted with such sad examples of our species.

Equally, like the young man you describe, there is often an unexpected regression towards normality.

Take heart and get well.

Nick: It is medias as Snoopy says.

Thank you Darwin. A moment of sanity.
