Happiest day of the year
« on: August 06, 2011, 07:14:47 AM »
Tis today apparently  rubschin:

The sixth day at 7pm in the eighth month - or 7pm on August 6 - is the day people feel most content because of the high temperatures, school holidays and prospect of a summer break.
We smile most between 7pm and 8pm each day, are at our cheeriest on Saturdays and love August more than any other month.
The five hours in which we feel happiest are all after 5pm - once many of us have finished work.

Woo hoo  noooo:

SWWLTBO and I were just talking about what has happened to summers these past few years, saying August ain't what it used to be etc.

Wish I'd seen earlier that today is the happiest of the year.   tunble:

If this is as good as it gets .... I don't think I want to know.   surrender:

Got up early to watch Aussie rugby by meself, Mrs Jom got up just after, so that was that out of the window, yap, yap., yap. All week it's four shouts every ten minutes of "are you getting up", and come the weekend when I can have a bit of Jom-time, she's up with the lark Banghead
Been doing DIY in the garden, more of that to come, shops soon, and need to get two reports done in readiness for Monday. The only thing to look forward to is the local horti show later today and then the recording of the Challenge Cup semi-final this afternoon

Bloody ecstatic I am ::)

My father went deaf during his latter years... he had a hearing aid which he would simply never wear when it was just him and Mum at home. Even if she managed to get him to wear it he would switch it off. Never known him happier.
