Bastards

The last "normal" lightbulb I had in the house packed up last night. The brightest low energy one the local so-called DIY stores do are the equivalent of 65w, with an incredible start-up time of "less than 30 seconds"   censored:

I bought a mahoosive supply cheap before they made them illegal  ::)

I cannot figure out why lightbulbs are illegal but the guvmint will give me £5000 to buy a fooking electric car  Banghead Banghead Banghead Banghead Banghead

And as reported on the news just now, from the end of this month we won't even be able to get 60w bulbs. I shall switch on me low energy bulbs as I go to bed so that they are nearly bright enough when I get up the following morning  ::)
