Leccy cars

Poo. sick2:

Talking to me main Honda dealer yesterday, and they're getting out of Honda cus he reckons they've lost the plot with all this electricity hybrid shite.
They are far too expensive, they're a BIG con for the idiots that think they're going to be getting free and /or cheap motoring, they're ugly as f***, and most importantly, they're NOT selling...much.

Market share down from 5% a few years ago to a miserable 3.5 now apparently, and still falling.
They've evn stopped producing the diesel variants now too! eeek:

In the main I agree although if the infrastructure can ever be put in place and made competitive then I think the GM Hy-Wire concept does have potential with being able to easily hot swap bodies to fit the situation.

Still not solving the seemingly (so far) unsurmountable problem of only having a range of approx 100 miles with a re-charge time generally panning out into hours
Not really much use if you want to go and see Auntie Mary in Monmouth, when you live in Middlesborough is it, or the dog suddenly becomes unwell and you need to get him to the vet pronto, only you can't, cus the family car is too busy feeding its big fat batteries for half a day. Banghead

Absolute shite, and will remain so until someone can come up with a viable cost effective solution.

This seems like a sensible alternative

Thought this was going to be about Scalextric.

Most disappointed.

Given the lack of movement until the end and the large amounts of smoke and flame coming out the back I spent most of that clip thinking you had blown your car up again.

Can't you find any Aunt Mary a bit closer to home?
