True enough me old bear but we were also thinking of new members like .... the old button didn't really have the eye appeal to attract people into using it and having to explain it over and over again would have been tedious.
Using the internationally known logo might just attract a few more members to use it.
People will recognise it as a link as it is used everywhere whereas the old one was not instantly recognisable as such.
Anyway that was the thinking.

PERSONALLY speaking like, I think a pair of fine young bouncy jigglin' stonkers with 'sponsored by Avingsome' tattooed on them might 'ave attracted a bi' more attention like.
