The Actors Studio

For those not aware of this institution:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actors_Studio

Around 20 years ago they began a programme of evenings where actors would talk about the events and moments that had brought them to where they are today. It was picked up by the Bravo TV channel and broadcast. Some fan(atic) has seen fit to upload a huge quantity of these interviews on YouTube.
The ones I've been absorbed by are not clips  ~  they are the whole show, minus (for copyright reasons) the film clips so, they can be 45 minutes to an hour plus worth of viewing. You have been warned  ;)

The first one was with Paul Newman. http://www.youtube.com/user/SirPsychoFlea#p/u/97/OKRWD9ec_Eo  in 1991.

It's an American show so be prepared to put up with the whooping and hollering that occurs in later episodes, the applause at the mention of every iconic film and, unfortunately the necessity to cut the movie clips that are shown / referred to in the interview. I just click the full screen mode and let it run  cloud9:

The menu on the right shows the uploads ... enjoy!

Oh... Nick... have you watched the Juliette Binoche one yet?

So did I. It's very emotional  ;)

This all kicked off because I'm reading Michael Caine's most recent autobio. I happen to live only a few streets away from where he grew up, and Charlie Chaplin as it goes. What a story!
We don't seem to do those in depth interviews any more, sadly.
