LL can't remember her number...  noooo:

Mobiles can be a bit trickier to remember than landlines though in all fairness like..

It is only eight digits...  ::)

Ey? confused:

All uk mobby's have 11 digits. I thought it was the same werld wide too tbh, hey ho. redface:

There are less than a million people here - don't need so many numbers...

Area codes are just two digits... so my landlines area code is 25 for Limassol district...

All mobiles have a two digit 'area code' starting with 9... so mine starts 99 because I'm with cyta (€1.7 per month rental charge)...

So my actual numbers are only six digits...

Alright I shall put this in simple terms and provide an example .

Suppose I needed to contact The Brat . For the purposes of this demonstration I shall call her Anna Log  whistle:

She is not at home  so I need to call her on her  portable mobile device , commonly known as a mobile phone.

Also say I am at work. This is a place of employment where many of us need to attend but there obviously clear north / south divides on some of these rules  whistle:

My phone is not available , dead, forgotten or broken, whatever.

I would have no chance of calling her as I would not be able to remember her phone number without the use of said technical device.

Unlike you , I wouldn't be able to shout and she would hear me with a 25 mile radius  whistle:

I understand, I've no idea what my children's phone numbers are. My phone has the numbers, I don't need to remember.

(I do have them on a computer file)
