'Tis true, yesterday Mr C and I were driving through a local village two young orange women/girls approached the crossing both with mobile phones glued to their ears.  The first looked at us as we slowed and then she stepped onto the crossing three or four paces in front of the other, the second just stepped straight out in front of us. noooo:

On the bright if 50% of people doing this are female then we should have a decrease in the gene pool. :thumbsup:
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

I live opposite a church which is on slightly higher ground than this house thus when sitting here typing can see the what is going on in front of said church.

A long line of school children two abreast, accompanied by several adults, has just filed past and stopped at the church doors.  The children on the out side of each pair is wearing a high viz vest. I can only assume that they are the ones being trained for a life of motorway construction. noooo:

They call them "Walking Buses"  ::)

It is a way of getting groups of children from A to B by Shank's Pony.
